About us
newzealanders.org is a collaborative project that is made possible by the work of the two organisations below. Funding is generated by ABC Disability Trust and the information is gathered and inputed onto the site by the Lead School Transition service.
ABC Disability Trust
The purpose of the trust is to enrich the lives of people with disabilities and those who care for them, by providing information, services and products which will empower them to make informed decisions. It will also provide other support and assistance consistent with this charitable purpose.
Lead School Transition Service
LST is an advice and guidance service for participating Christchurch secondary schools currently Allenvale School, Cashmere High School, Ferndale School, Halswell Residential College, Mairehau High School, Papanui High School, St Thomas of Canterbury College, Riccarton High School and Waitaha Learning Centre. The service aims to improve the pathway to post school life for students who are identified as having a disability (ORS and non ORS).
